5 Big, Cruz and Penna are everything StarsI have one night, just a few minutes in this eternity of ours, to try to understand youOnce again Rebecca Yarros has made me fall in love with one of her stories This was amazing, absolutely fantastic and so so hot Rebecca owns my soul I m not sure how she s able to create the swooniest heroes time after time but she totally does So people, you need to the swooniest heroes time after time but she totally does So people, you need to read this, because you need to meet your new favorite book boyfriend Cruz Delgado aka Doctor Delicious, aka my husband s cousin, lolGod, I love this feeling, she whispered, as if she hadn t meant to say the thought aloud The rush I guessed The anticipation The war that silently rages in my body between what I want it to do and what it knows isn t safe The way my stomach tightens and my heart starts to race The moment the decision is still mine I knew the exact moment she was describing because I d lived it I was in it now It was the moment you stood on the edge of epic and decided to topple overTo me, he made the book He was just amazing His background, his dedication, his hotness, his love for Penna Ahhh swoonsYou are a headstrong, independent, stubborn woman surrounded by a sea of boys, when what you crave what you need is a man One who isn t going to hold you back but isn t afraid of you, either One who knows the delicate balance between watching you fly and protecting you so you don t fall Hell, I m not sure any of those boys would even know what to do with you if you ever let them get their hands on youSee See F ing Hotttt So let s talk Penna if you ve read the other books in the series you know what Penna has been through if you haven t, what are you waiting for Penna is a little lost and trying to find her way after the events in Wilder and Nova And she s struggling hard, with who she is, who she was and how she s perceived by the world She s a Renegade to the core, but she s also such a sensitive soul I loved her, everything about her Definitely my favorite heroine of Rebecca s sorry SamFor the last three months, I d felt like plain ol Penna, and no matter what I did, I couldn t rouse Rebel, couldn t get her to stand up and take notice that I was withering awayAs the blurb states, Penna and Cruz met in Vegas and shared an experience , let s call it thatShe stared up at me, every inch of her body language screaming that she didn t care what I did She was going to do whatever she wanted But her eyes told a different story There was something damaged there, a desperate plea that tapped into my soul in a way I d thought I was immune to Man, was I wrong She wasn t a damsel She was in distress, but she wasn t going to say a word about it, and that set off every alarm bell in my brain and engaged that sense of chivalry Grandma had busted her ass to instill in meLittle do they know that they re about to become student and teacher And you know how much I love that trope High stakes, lots of pressure, lots of sneaking out and the angst Of the chartsWhat if I never felt this kind of connection with anyone else What if he was the one guy I was capable of feeling something with What if I was about to miss out on something that was truly once in a lifetime because I was ironically scared to jump This was a high worth chasing He was a risk worth taking This was dangerous We both knew it, and yet here we were again Magnets Gravity Chemical reactions WhateverSo overall, this book has everything I love Sports check Forbidden check Romance check Angst check Sexy Times check Hot AF Swoony Hero check Strong Kickass Heroine checkHands down this is my favorite book this series and a favorite this year I guarantee it will keep you hooked from beginning to endI don t do this I don t chase boys I don t make out with boys I don t risk my reputation for a guy, or for some fling, and I sure as hell don t open myself up for rejection I m not a normal girl, and I know that But I think that you re the only man strong enough to handle every facet of the woman I am You re everything I want, everything I need, and I just want the chance to be what you need, tooAs I ve stated before, Rebecca Yarros writing is so beautiful, and so real There s no way you can read one of her books and not by affected by the writing Rebecca is one of the reasons our blog exists today We re huge fans There are a couple of authors we support and swear by wholeheartedly, and she s one of them This is one of those books we want people to know about, we want everyone to just readSo, you and me I asked softly You and me, he agreed, taking my lips in a deep, soul reaching kiss It s not going to be easy Nothing worth it ever isNeedless to say, Rebel is 100% Sisterhood approved This book is all the feels, all of them Everything you need in a great story from beginning to end I can t stop grinning when I think about it And the epilogue, absolute perfection We can t wait for what Rebecca will bring us nextYou challenge every belief I ve ever held about relationships, and I have a feeling you ll keep that up, which I amthan fine with I m not an easy man, and you re anything but an easy woman, but together we are effortless, because I can t imagine any other possibility

4.5 stars. It s no secret that I m a fan of Rebecca Yarros writing Her stories generally hit your emotions exactly where you need them to and Rebel did exactly that This is how you close a series, saving the the best til last and making your reader shed a little tear they never even saw comingI d never given a shit about rules They called me Rebel for a reasonThe Professor student trope is one of my absolute favourites as I love the forbidden that comes with the territory and, whils 4.5 stars. It s no secret that I m a fan of Rebecca Yarros writing Her stories generally hit your emotions exactly where you need them to and Rebel did exactly that This is how you close a series, saving the the best til last and making your reader shed a little tear they never even saw comingI d never given a shit about rules They called me Rebel for a reasonThe Professor student trope is one of my absolute favourites as I love the forbidden that comes with the territory and, whilst I ll be honest in that I think that aspect was a bit underplayed, there s no denying that Cruz and Penna are a perfect match Because not only does their story bring secrecy, risk and romance, but it delivers a good dose of action and the unexpected I loved these characters as individuals and as a couple and both were fantastically portrayed Their first meeting was intense giving us a taster of all the delicious possibilities, yet following their reacquaintance things slow to a natural pace, building tension fitting their circumstance Penna and Cruz are good for one another in every possible way and I appreciated the fact that despite all their fighting it, they realise this and accept their feelings despite the consequences of being found outI m not supposed to think about you, dream about you, wonder what you re doing or who you re with But I doNaturally Rebel wouldn t have been the read it was without the supporting characters who brought depth and adventure to the story and a good share of the emotion, although I can t deny that I think an opportunity has been missed in not giving Nick his story because he s muchinvolved this time around and I loved him But overall this was a superb conclusion to The Renegades series, for an epilogue junkie such as myself the epilogue was gold, Cruz Delgado has stolen Josh Walker s crown as my favourite Rebecca Yarros hero, and I look forward to seeing what she brings us next Copy received courtesy of Entangled Publishing for an honest and unbiased opinion Stock Image

4,5 Rebel starsThis is the epitome of a very good romance story The character cast was fantastic The plot had just the right balance of slightly forbidden romance teacher student , great friendship and coming to terms with some inner guilt and bruised past.First of all I love Rebel I m a reformed tomboy You know the kind to climb trees, make stunts with the boys on her skateboard The only girl allowed at playing football pardon, soccer with the boys at school The one who never backed 4,5 Rebel starsThis is the epitome of a very good romance story The character cast was fantastic The plot had just the right balance of slightly forbidden romance teacher student , great friendship and coming to terms with some inner guilt and bruised past.First of all I love Rebel I m a reformed tomboy You know the kind to climb trees, make stunts with the boys on her skateboard The only girl allowed at playing football pardon, soccer with the boys at school The one who never backed away from a challenge and knew how to use her fists against boys if need arose. So Rebel being the only girl in a bunch of daredevils touring the world to make crazy stuntsdangerous than the former ones was my kind of girl Did I dig that chick Second Cruz is the perfect boyfriend.Seriously he is not only drool worthy all lickable abs, happy trail, dark hair and something eye but he is incredibly supportive He fell for Penelope Rebel and her crazy job but will never try to cage her or put any blackmail hoping to have her stop her dangerous activity He will band her injuries, demand to study the projected stunt to better advise the technicalities and security measures and worry till it s done but never stopping her He knew the stunts were part of her personality Rebel is who Penelope is Let s put some order to this review now. This book is part of a series and it would probably be best to read the other books first but that s not what I did I read it as a standalone and got the gist of the other books without too many difficulties It certainly did not deter me from my pleasure As already said Rebel is a twenty something woman part of a band of daredevils Pax, Landon, Nico and Penelope are the Originals The firsts to have created this group of adrenaline junkies They know each other since childhood and now have made their stunts into a business, gathering other Renegades with them and a huge fan base.In the previous book a drama happened and Rebel has been physically and morally wounded. She now is trying to go back in the saddle and the story opens on Penelope convincing a stranger met in a bar at Vegas to pull a BASE jump from a Ferris wheel. She needs to prove she can do stunts again Not to others, well that too, but to herself first. The story revolves around a forbidden romance but also around Rebel s journey to rebuild her confidence and self esteem I really liked her determination, her dedication She wants to claim back that brazen part of her that s been missing You have to admire the girl as she is one strong willed heroine The forbidden romance aspect happens when Rebel s new teacher is none other than the mysterious stranger Cruz.Of course they ll try to resist their attraction but the chemistry is too strong She could ruin Cruz s career and he desperately needs to teach on that ship for personal reasons.Oh yes, I forgot to tell that Rebel and her friends are touring the world in a cruising ship, busy getting their college degree thanks to in house teachers How cool is that right Being taught on a boat cruising the oceans Yes sign me in any time I really loved witnessing the blossom of their love How perfect they were for each other forbidden aspect aside Nothing wrong had ever felt so right I loved the friendships with Pax, Landon, Rachel, Leah Learning the technicalities of the stunts was very interesting and following that strong girl on the path of her recovery was inspiring So would I recommend it YES if you re a fan of romance without too much angst with swoon worthy character and in need of a kickass heroine.Find me on Wordpress Beware Of The ReaderFacebook Beware Of The Reader Facebook besties Best Reading Blogs Ever Instagram bewareofthereader Twitter BewareOffReader

Last 20% was the best I rarely take 4 days to finish a book When that happens it is because I just cannot get into the story It is frustrating to me and I felt like I was missing so much in this one. This is definitely crafted in the YA methodology Plus, it is a continuation in a series where you simply need to read the prior books I really wish the publisher would call that out better in the synopsis Anyway, while the story was interesting in many ways, there was too mu Last 20% was the best I rarely take 4 days to finish a book When that happens it is because I just cannot get into the story It is frustrating to me and I felt like I was missing so much in this one. This is definitely crafted in the YA methodology Plus, it is a continuation in a series where you simply need to read the prior books I really wish the publisher would call that out better in the synopsis Anyway, while the story was interesting in many ways, there was too much talk, drama, and therefore I really missed the connection between Cruz and Penna, aka Rebel It was a good match up but with the long lead in into something actually happening, it became boring for me Cruz was an amazing character and I did love everything he was about and how he treated her I just wish I feltconnection overall with this book.As I stated earlier, the last 20% of the book was the best, although a huge wrap up was missing about one important character in this story Not sure what that is about. The theme was good, but you should read the other parts before entering this book Do yourself a favor
